Sr.Crm Business Analyst Fundraising/Development - Devex

PURPOSE OF POSITION: To provide overall project and change management for the installation and ongoing administration and upgrade of the core Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system and related systems and processes. This position provides critical support to Vice President (VP) responsible for all of Oxfam America?s fundraising and outreach to donors and supporters/activists. Provides timely reports, business analysis, data analytics, and potential business process improvements for the development and marketing teams. This position maintains a close relationship with the Resource Development Operations team who oversee administration and management of the production data and information used to conduct CRM related business processes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Manage the installation and ongoing improvements of the new CRM system, working closely with vendors, operations team, and business unit leaders, helping teams adapt to change and take advantage of the new opportunities.

2) Serve as team administrator as needed for core CRM system and work with end users to answer workflow and system-related questions regarding data access, add-on products, best practices, etc.

3) Become the expert and administrator for all existing development and marketing reports and dashboards and work with the development and communications teams to develop reports relevant for their respective teams. Support the VP in preparing high level reports for Senior Management and the Board, including forecasting; support VP and Directors in using data analysis to improve targeting of donor prospects.

4) Develop CRM-related training materials or ensure they are developed by the appropriate unit. Conduct sessions for end users, as required. Act as a support resource for existing users post-training.

5) Analyze existing processes and ensure they are well documented. Make recommendations to streamline processes within the CRM, including ways to bring more functions into the CRM as appropriate over time. Lead stakeholders through decision-making around such changes and facilitate/provide project management for them, as required.

6) Perform other reasonably related duties as required.


QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Education: Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience in business, computer science, or a related discipline. Experience and Core Competencies:
1. At least five years? experience in fundraising/sales operations or related field, ideally in a public interest or cause-related organization.
2. At least three years of CRM administration and operational support and understanding of the broader CRM application landscape such as Oracle CRM, Salesforce.com, SAP CRM, and Microsoft Dynamics.
3. Extensive knowledge of and/or a proven record of success in a role emphasizing consulting, designing, implementing and leading, as the project manager, project teams or tracks on projects.
4. Thorough understanding of and ability to execute in the area of change management.
5. A keen business understanding of how to link fundraising and constituency engagement business objectives to highly efficient business process and systems. Familiarity with relational databases, reporting packages, digital workflows, and related concepts.
6. Excellent interpersonal, communication, training, presentation, and organizational skills.
7. Self-motivated and managed demonstrating exceptional follow-through.
8. Ability to independently prioritize and complete tasks in a structured manner.
9. Strong ability to interface and cultivate good working relationships across departments and levels and to participate in teams and lead teams without being a supervisor.
10. Strong problem-solving and analysis skills and experience with financial reporting.
11. Experience with Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
12. Ability to interpret technical information and teach the use of such information to non-technical users.
13. Self-confidence, flexibility, maturity, sound judgment.
14. Sense of humor and work as a team player.
Desired: Thorough experience and subject matter expertise to play a hands on role in developing or coordinating activities with teams in writing functional or technical specifications leveraging prior experience in designing, implementing and supporting complex business processes. Proven experience in leading business process, functional or technical architecture design workshops.?
