All-Time Home Run Derby Bracket: Babe Ruth, Barry Bonds, Chris Davis, Ken Griffey Jr. Highlight Fictional Field

Babe Ruth never did. Neither did Hank Aaron. The same goes for Jimmie Foxx. None of those baseball legends managed to hit 37 home runs before the All-Star break.

Chris Davis did. With his prodigious power display, the Baltimore Orioles' 27-year-old first baseman joined Barry Bonds (39), Mark McGwire (37) and Reggie Jackson (37) as the only players with 37 or more home runs by the time of the Midsummer Classic.

This scorching start to the 2013 season earned Davis the final spot in our all-time home run derby bracket. As the least accomplished entrant in the fictional field, Davis will square off with the Sultan of Swat in the opening round. In a matchup sure to settle any lasting debate over the rightful ownership of the single-season longball record, Barry Bonds and Roger Maris will also match swings to get this derby started.

As we'll never get this group of eight sluggers into a ballpark any time soon without the aid of a flux capacitor, go ahead and vote in our all-time Home Run Derby bracket.
