Clef palates and hair lips run in our family. When I was young, I had to wait several years to have mine fixed. This is genetic, but often skips a generation. So my kids were fine. However my grandson was born with both. Although it was scary, I was pleased when the doctor at Nashville Plastic Surgery told us that these problems can be fixed on young children. I was happy that he wouldn?t have to wait as long as I did.
