Job Description

A tremendous opportunity is available for a skilled and talented Sports Development professional to lead on team BEDS&LUTON's work with National Governing Bodies. An excellent relationship with NGBs already exists, we are looking for someone to drive this forward and make it outstanding.

You will understand the core role of County Sports Partnerships and their role in underpinning the work of NGBs, have a terrific sports development track record and have a desire to add value to a successful team.

You will lead and manage all aspects of NGB Partnerships - including the line management of staff, provision of services through procurement, development of delivery programmes and performance management. You will manage the operational delivery of the Core Specification working with a wider range of partners locally, regional and nationally. You will ensure systems for reviewing, monitoring and evaluating the work of the NGB partnerships are in place.

You will be up to date with all relevant legislation, professional developments, emerging best practice and funding initiatives. You will play a vital role in contributing to the development of policies, strategies and initiatives in the County Sports Partnership.
