Caf? Ladle of Love emerged from the aftermath of New York?s September 11th tragedy. Proprietor Leslie Lampert?s acclaim as a ?foodie? spread throughout Westchester County upon the account of her specialty soups that she prepared for area firefighters working through the Ground Zero rubble. As demand grew, Lampert opened up a boutique storefront in Mt. Kisco to serve soups, salads, sandwiches, pasta and chicken.

This restaurant offers pieces of lemon-thyme chicken that are prepared and roasted with olive oil, garlic and white wine. Chicken and dumpling soup is the house favorite, and Lampert?s creation is one mixture of chicken, onions, carrots, celery and dumplings. Of course, Ladle of Love soups go well with salads and sandwiches. The pesto chicken Panini is made with grilled chicken breasts, presto and Parmesan cheese tucked within ciabatta bread.
